Quick Connect/ Disconnect Design
FireFly has waterproof bulkhead quick disconnect connectors on either side of its housing allowing direct connection of a DC-powered control cable and ‘daisy chaining’ of multiple lights.

Each module has an inbuilt 1.5 1.2Ah +3.7VDC lithium polymer (LiPo) rechargeable battery which provides an ever-ready run time of three four hours.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Smart Connectivity
Each FireFly light is fitted with an 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy wireless radio allowing each FireFly module to respond to and/or track and the position of these tags to a 10-20m accuracy.
Supports Multiple Colours and Modes
FireFly’s +48VDC multi-coloured addressable LED assembly can provide red, green, amber, blue or white illumination as required. It also offers four modes of operation: All on, All off, Strobing, Forwards train, and Backwards train.
Voltage Input 6VDC to 60 VDC
FireFly modules are powered by a 6 12-60VDC supply and controlled via RS485 communications bus via the FireFly UPS control panel. The high intensity FireFly lights can be easily staggered along the tunnel @ 5, 10, 20, 25 and 60 metre increments with our moulded, pre terminated cabling.

The FireFly system can be monitored and controlled via a web application. It allows the user to select the colours and modes for either a single , a string, grouped or combinations thereof that the FireFly lights will respond to.
FireFly Smart Lighting provides a distinct visual indication
of the safety level within an area of the mine.
