Quick and Effective Area/Zone Management:
- The DragonFly Smart Lighting System offers quick and effective area/zone management by providing real-time detection and alerting of high-risk emergency events. It facilitates fire and emergency event evacuations and guides individuals to safe refuges or areas. The system enhances illumination for post-event inspections and increases vehicle traffic awareness. Additionally, it supports data backhaul from environmental sensors and geotechnical instruments, thereby improving overall visibility and safety.
Real-Time Alerting of Fire Affected Zones - Triggering Immediate Evacuation When Fire Events Occurs:
- The backwards and forwards trailing mode enables the DragonFly strings to provide an evacuation guidance function. Either to exit a certain fi re affected area or to guide workers towards the nearest refuge chamber or point of egress.
An Additional Layer of Warning During An Emergency Event:
- The strobing and flashing function allows for the DragonFly system to provide real-time emergency awareness to the underground workforce.

- Each person and vehicle operating in the tunnel can be detected by the DragonFly lights. Their location data can then be shown via a virtual tagboard or sent to a third-party tracking system via an API.
- DragonFly lights can be deployed at key locations around the tunnel network to provide a zone-based tracking system. Access control points enable workers to enter turnstile gates and swipe at swipe card readers located in various zones, including surface and underground zones, safe zones, and construction zones.
